Description

The Type F overload is a protective device with a ½” disc round base. The overload is an integral part of the machine, which when properly applied protects the machine against dangerous overheating due to overload and in a single-phase motor, failure to start.

Current rating:

0.5 amp to 21 amp.

Switch action:

Snap acting single pole line break.

Application:

Over current protection for miscellaneous equipment including single-phase, fractional horsepower, electric motors. Ideally suited for mounting in the enshield or terminal box of the motor.

Mode of operation:

Automatic: restarts automatically when operating temperature has assumed normal operating temperatures.

Termination:

a)      Solder.

b)      Quick connect, push on 6.3mm male terminals.

SAA Standards:

AS3100 (1994) – High voltage and insulation resistance test. Glow wire test at 750°C.

AS3169 (1989) – 6.3mm plated steel spade terminals.
